En Route To The Land of The Mouse

Have I mentioned how much I hate the Blogger iPad/iPhone app? Why yes, I believe I have. Actually, I don't entirely hate it. It's handy to have it available, but I hate that you can't put pictures where you want them, create captions or play with script. First world problems, I know.

Anyway, enough whining about that. I'm currently blogging from somewhere over the Midwestern United States.

We flew from Phoenix to Chicago, changed planes, and now we're en route to Orlando. I love being on the same plane as a bunch of other people headed to the same race. We're sitting next a lady from England that's doing the marathon for the ninth time. Pretty cool.

I didn't go to bed until close to midnight and then had to get up at 3AM to make a 6:00AM flight. Luckily, our first flight was not even half full so we managed to each get an entire row to ourselves and snooze a little bit. I even room to roll my legs on the plane!

I'm still tired, but I'm pretty excited to get to WDW and then to the expo. Time to spend $$$$$. (It's a good thing my dad and step mom gave me a WDW gift card for Christmas!!

Side note: Chicago is the land of the best hot dogs (of course, I had to ditch the bun). I'm glad we had time in between our flights to grab one! Don't all serious runners fuel for races like us?

ETA: There's free wifi at The Art Of Animation hotel, but our router was down yesterday. I'm posting now at 5AM because we thought it would be wise to get up early so we can go to bed early and be ready for the half tomorrow...

    1. Ours was done the first night, so I called the front desk and they had me call the people in charge of the wifi. It was a pain in the ass but they sent someone to fix the router and then we had wifi the whole rest of the time we were there.
