A PR? Yes, please!

FINALLY! Finally, I got a new PR. Okay, so I'm still slow, but it's new personal record for moi. I even broke into the 2:30s with a time of 2:39. My previous PR was 2:45 and I did that in January 2011. It only took 13 half marathons to get the job done. (and maybe some actual training. Who knew?)

A PR AT THE HAPPIEST RACE ON EARTH! Woooooot!

All of this marathon training is definitely paying off. Not to mention the 15 or so pounds I've dropped since May. It makes a huge difference.

I'm still at the land of the mouse for today and tomorrow. I'm heading home Wednesday and I will have a full recap of the expo, 5K, and Half Marathon for you when I get back!

    1. Ha! It took me FOREVER to get a new PR because I'm such a slacker about training. You at least train, so you're doing great! :)

    1. And on my 3 year half marathon anniversary! DL was my first half in 2010 and I wanted to PR there last year, but I got super sick at mile 6 and literally walked the entire second half of that race. There was no way I wasn't getting my DL and C2C medals, so I finished but it took me over 3 hours!!!! It's extra sweet that I did it this year. Thank you! :D
