Since I've been a terrible blogger and haven't posted in over a month, I must wish you all a happy New Year!
I resolve to not make resolutions. |
I also must wish you all a Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc. But really, that is just an excuse to post a picture of my adorable horse posing as a reindeer.
Seriously, how cute is he?! |
I'd go on and on about my grand ol' plans for a better me in 2015, but my track record for keeping up with my New Year's resolutions is pretty...depressing. I did start the new year off well by running a few times so far. Yay, me! I even took a running selfie to prove to y'all that I actually did run.
All this really proves is selfies make me look terrible. |
I'm leaving for Star Wars Half Weekend a week from tomorrow, so I figured getting in a handful of runs would be ideal. I'm still dealing with an injured knee, so I suppose my slackery can be chalked up to resting an injury, but if you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you're probably aware that I'm just not great at actually training for races. I won't be gunning for any PRs, but I don't think I'm in danger of not finishing.
Strangely, watching everyone head off to Disney World for Marathon weekend has me jonesing to run the WDW Marathon. I know this is stupid crazy of me because I have no desire to keep running marathons. I've run two so far- NYC and WDW- but I really want to do WDW again for some reason.
I did Goofy in 2013 and have no interest in doing a challenge that weekend, but I'd like to do just the marathon sometime in the future. And really, I only have a desire to run the WDW Marathon. We'll see how that pans out.
I hope everyone going to Marathon Weekend has an amazing time and I will be cyber stalking all of you so I can live vicariously and pretend that I'm there.
Your hore looks adorable. I forgot you were running Star Wars and will be cyber stalking you net weekend!
