After work, I met up with Tara and decided to leisurely run for 2 hours. This basically consisted of doing 3 minutes run, 1 minute walk intervals. We started off pretty pretty strong, running at a decent pace, even though how walk intervals were pretty slow. Toward the end of the run, I felt pretty fatigued, but I suppose that's alright considering my complete lack of running for the last several weeks.
Ready to run! |
And we saw this weird car...
So yes, I am back on the wagon. On another topic, has anyone seen Pitch Perfect? OMG, hilarious. And the music is awesome. Check it out. This was floating around Pinterest, and I had to share...
YAY for being back on the wagon! Proud of you. I'm also obsessed with Pitch Perfect. Acascuse me?!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It felt good to be out there, but I was seriously exhausted by the time we were done.
DeleteTara convinced me to see Pitch Perfect with her and she had already seen it once! I'm definitely buying this movie! We were talking last night about learning the song with the cup. I mean, everyone should have that as a party trick, right?! ;)
Nice shirt you got on there :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
It really is a good shirt. I think the fact that goofy is pretty much right around the corner has me scared into actual running. Eeeek!
DeleteOkay, I feel kind of relieved that you had a hiatus, too! I swear I just sort of stopped training for Goofy. I did the Portland Marathon and was like Running? What's that? Oh well - we'll be awesome ... in less than 50 days!!!
ReplyDeleteWe need to meet up for pictures!! And grab Abby, too!
DeleteYeah, Goofy. What was I thinking?!
I took one, too. Even though I planned it, it's hard getting back into it. We'll see how it goes this weekend. Eeek!
DeleteDEFINITELY a meetup must happen :)
Yaaaaay!! Blogger meet up! :D
