I'm not sure how I got sucked into the whole buying pins but I did. I usually only get one each time I go, and I almost pitched a fit when I went for the Villains Party and they ran out of pins. I mean c'mon! They ran out of pins!??! (Don't worry I eventually found a store with a few left!) I have copied the whole lanyard pin thing with my school ID and classroom keys. The kids love to come up to me on the playground and look at them. I only have a couple of Disney ones, though. I have Mickey pilot wings and Mary Poppins. The rest are all airplanes and NASA related stuff.
I'd probably actually buy a Disney lanyard, though, if they had a way for me to attach my stuff. I don't get why they end in that D-ring with no clip for other items! I received Cinderella (not the true race pin) and Christine got a Princess crown pin. Well, after that we had to get a pin for every race. And now you probably know each Christmas they are used to decorate a small tree. I do love the little tree, but honestly I probably could have lived without the pins/money suck! Two Runners Travel https://www.blogger.com/profile/10446814348862304394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7024307164150315166.post-68249435524605194482016-01-21T10:57:19.855-07:002016-01-21T10:57:19.855-07:00Oh, you really need to!! The only race I've really started to despise is the Princess weekend because there are hoards of people that sign up for it and don't train at all. I'm a slacker and often under train and it's by far the most congested and annoying, in my opinion. There are many that love it, though. At Disney World, your best chance for cooler weather is marathon weekend in January. Wine & Dine is an adventure but fun with the night time atmosphere.

Star Wars Half is one of the best I've run but that's at Disneyland.
