I figured with Goofy looming in the not too distant future, I should probably do some running. I wasn't feeling well at all while I was running tonight. I almost felt like I did when I was figuring out I had a gluten intolerance. I only ran 3.6 miles, but I felt terrible, so I guess I can cut myself some slack. Don't worry, I documented my post run sad face for you.
I'm really good at looking pathetic. |
Anyway, just because I live in the desert doesn't mean we don't get into the Christmas spirit around here. I did capture some good Christmas lights pictures. It's practically a Corona commercial 'round these parts.
In other news, I found this on Amazon. Who comes up with this stuff? And even weirder? I kind of want to get it for someone.
That's what's happening in my world right now. Anyone else find crazy stuff on Amazon?
It sounds like all of us are in a running funk. I haven't been putting much training in for Goofy either this year and I'm FINALLY starting to get worried! We both need a kick in the rear, ha!
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to have the NYCM checked off the list as my first marathon. Now I'm doing my first full as part of Goofy, which is insane. Or genius because at least I have no idea how miserable running a full is, so maybe I'm not as scared as I would be otherwise. ;)
DeleteDon't worry, I'm pretty sure I will be celebrating Christmas in shorts this year. Or at least not in NYC weather.
ReplyDeleteThat image disturbs me very much.
Surprisingly, it gets pretty chilly here in the winter. This morning it was 36 when I went to ride my horse. Now granted, that's not cold by NYC standards, but we desert dwellers fall apart when it drops below 70. ;)
DeleteSounds like running burnout to me. Don't worry, Goofy will be so crowded it would be difficult to get a PR anyways. Go and just enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI'm really just looking to survive! Hopefully, all of the Disney entertainment will distract me for a good portion of the actual running. :)
